DryNites®

Making DryNites® part of your child's daily routine

Whether it's schooltrips, sleepovers at friend's houses or a long weekend with grandparents, every child wants to feel free to do what they want, when they want, with no ties and restrictions. This is where DryNites® can help, until they have properly grown out of bedwetting. Pyjama pants and Sleep Shorts enable children to be independent and confident. DryNites® also make sure the bedding stays clean and dry so that your child can have a good night's sleep.

Absorbent sleepwear such as DryNites® offer the chance to break the cycle of worry and anxiety children feel after continuous mornings of wet sheets and damp skin, allowing your child to start feeling secure, dry and happy again.

You can help make DryNites® a normal part of your child's daily routine by following a few simple steps:

  • Clear a special place in your child's underwear draw for their DryNites® perhaps next to their pyjamas or with their daytime underwear.
  • Put a bin, with a lid on it, in your child's bedroom so that they can place used DryNites® in there in the morning.
  • Encourage your child to take DryNites® to sleepovers with friends. Show them how they can change in and out of them in the bathroom and prove to them how discrete they are under clothes. Remember to put a plastic bag in their suitcase for the used DryNites® in the morning.

Here are some things you can point out to encourage your child to try using DryNites®:

  • DryNites® are a more comfortable option than plastic sheets and can be put on and taken off like real underwear.
  • Show your child that DryNites® absorbent Sleepwear are made for older kids, just like them, not like a baby’s nappy.
  • And finally, point out the advantage of knowing that when your child wakes up they will be clean and dry. There won't be any feelings of embarrassment or frustration at having to strip the bed in the morning (or the middle of the night).
