his upset
Girl or boy, 13
my son started to wet the bed when his dad left home and didn't want to see him again. first it started with a few drops then after a week he started to wet more and more so i decided to put him in drynites at first both me and him were unsure about them via the amount they would hold but they turned out to be fine. but he made me swear not to tell his sister. and now he can not wait to wear them, as soon as he gets home he wears them, the best thing about them is that he can help himself, i mean he doesn't need any help to put them on.....the end.....
I am a busy working mum of 4 little boys, but my middle 2 age 6 and 7 both regulary wet the bed, we use these drynites every night and its making life so much easier, we was so fed up of washing sheets everyday, when i was small i wet the bed till i was 15 years old and eventually grew out of it, my mum says she wishes there was a product available in them days, i am now 31, so thank you Huggies couldnt cope without you.
i am 15 and have been wetting the bed now for about 1 week, i have covered t from my parents and am not willing to tell them. i have been staying awake at nights until my parents go to bed and putting a towle over my bed sheets to prevent my white sheets getting stained ( the towles are red so it does not show up). i then get up before my parents hide the towle under my bed and change what i am sleeping in so my parents have no idea. after getting home from school i have an hour until they get home and i use this time to wash the towle dry it and slip it under my bed ready for the night approching. i dont want my parents to know but i dont want to carry on living like this. can anyone help ?

This is not a story but a response to the previous article entitled 'started'.
There has to be a reason why you have just started wetting the bed and it is essential that you tell your parents. I am sure they will be supportive and this will ease the stress you must be under right now. You will need to seek medical advice which might entail bladder stretching exercises. It is also an idea to restrict your fluid intake for the few hours before going to bed and in particular avoid fizzy drinks and those containing caffeine as they tend to irritate the bladder causing it to empty before it is full. Have an alarm clock to wake you once or twice during the night. By adjusting its time of going off you may be able to get to the toilet before you are wet.

Bedwetting.

I started wetting the bed when I was 13, I found it difficult to tell my parents. Just like most teenage girls would, but when I did I felt like it was a weight lifted off my sholders. I asked my parents to buy me Drynites which they did, they do not feel like a nappy at all, but just a little bigger than my usual underware. I prefer drynites to a wet bed, my friends, sister and parents are very supportive.
i wet the bed about 3-4 times a week i started about 1 week ago but i am not willing 2 tell my parents...i didnt buy Drynights cause im scared that il get cought..is there a way that i can maybe i can make a fake nappy? or i was thinking about wearing my nieace's baby nappy's that my mum keeps over here, they are the biggest size of baby nappy's but i dont think they will fit me...wat can i do?? pls help or give me more idea's...tnx

I respect you don't want to tell your parents but it would be good if you did. But by 'get caught' do you mean by your parents or by a shopkeeper. i thought of that when i was wetting the bed But eventually i thought why am i worried of going asnd buying them it's not wrong and how are they going to know who i am. eventually i bought some and i hid them on the top shelf in my wardrode.
Getting support for bed wetting is all about being brave enough to say 'mum/dad i need to tell youi something'

I am revising for my SATs and have just started wetting the bed. I don't want my parents to know because I'm hoping it will pass after my SATs. Will it?
I am 15 and I am still a regular bed wetter. I have always wet my bed and have always worn nappies. My mummy made me wear nappies up to when I was 7 but now I wear DryNites out of choice. Like one of the previous stories, I look forward to wearing them because it makes me feel so secure. Sometimes if I have a dry night I will wear the nappy during the day because of the security it gives me. I would like to stop wetting the bed but whilst I still do, I will continue wearing the Godsend that is DryNites nappies.
