Sleep Tight, Wake Bright! Starting School Pack Supporting your home – school partnerships

The Sleep Tight, Wake Bright! Starting School Pack is a new resource designed to fit seamlessly into your 'new starter' programme. The resource is aimed at making the transition from pre-school to 'big school' as smooth and stress free as possible for the children, parents, and schools.

The Sleep Tight, Wake Bright! Starting School Pack contains 'Settling in' Activity sheets and stimulus, a class wall chart to be used with classroom activities and motivational stickers. Also included are copies of the Parent Information Guide which you can distribute to the families of 'new starters' as part of your admissions process.

The Activity sheets fit with Foundation Stage curriculum areas of learning objectives for reception class children, offering fun activities that will help children settle into their new environment, interact with their new classmates, and make friends. There’s a fun wall chart that you will use in conjunction with the activities and stickers to motivate and reward children.
